Welcome to #TREATSOFTUESDAY!
Winning the lottery is something all of us fantasise about from time to time. It’s nice to think of all the things you could and would do if money were no object. Though money can’t buy you happiness, it most certainly helps in the world we live in today. Money can buy you a quality of life, a presence in the world and a sense of achievement. It’s the root of all evil, yet one of the most vital necessities on the planet.
I used to be extremely money-minded, but with age I’ve grown to realise that cash alone will not bring you happiness. True happiness comes from within, and though it may be hard to be upbeat when things are tight, it’s important to remember the significance of our relationships, attitudes and intensions. When these three things are in order, happiness isn’t all that hard to achieve – even when you’re skint.
A girl can dream though, right? I think it’s only healthy to, actually. I think that we should all strive to have the best in life, so long as we are balanced and grounded enough to be content with ourselves and our relationships. Gratitude for what you already have will always stand you in good stead.
Today I thought I’d share some of the things I think I’d do or buy if I won the lottery. I figured it would be a fun way of getting to know me better, and a great way of getting a conversation flowing. So, if you’ve given winning the lottery any consideration I’d love to hear how you think you would spend the money. Use the comments section at the end of this post! For now though, here’s my list:
1. Buy Sam a racing car
2. Set down my foundations
