Recently I’ve been craving outfits with MOVEMENT. I love flowing fabrics and cascading cuts – they make you feel like part of the outfit, rather than just a body wearing it.
I found this Spring Jacket online at Boohoo.com and instantly fell in love. I could see from the catwalk video (which is a new feature I love FYI) that it had some movement in it and that it was long and loose-fitting. Originally saw myself wearing it with a pair of strappy heels and skin-tight pencil dress but I just happened to throw this on last week and thought I’d shoot it for you guys.
Boohoo, as I’m sure I’ve mentioned somewhere before, can be a little hit and miss in terms of quality. I’m a bit of a sucker when it comes to cheap trends though so I never stop myself from going back for longer than a few months. Sometimes the product is poor quality, other times it is just as good as New Look & River Island!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this jacket, though. It was lightweight but not cheap and fragile. The leather look turn-up sleeves add a nice modern touch and material was a really nice, matte texture. Peeeerfect for a Spring Jacket!
