It is OK to…

…get your eyeliner wings wrong 10000 times and then post a picture on Instagram of them looking perfect…

…replace things in your makeup collection before they’ve even run out…

…turn to retail shopping even when you’ve got nothing to be sad about and already have an online delivery on the way…

…cry about your makeup every once and a while. Like why doesn’t it ALWAYS look PERFECT!!?..

…try to make up valid reasons as to why you’re late to people who just don’t get it (or care)…

…be inspired by the strangest of things and replicate this in your makeup…

…get makeup envy like once every hour when you’re watching TV…

…think/say (shout) to people ‘YOU SHOULD WEAR MORE’ when they say “you should wear less makeup”…

…get seriously pissed of at people who say “you look tired” or “are you okay” when you’re not wearing makeup…

…use dry shampoo when you’re busy. It does feel like a cop-out but who cares, if it looks clean… it is clean (right?)

…think to yourself “I wish I never wore makeup” while still physically applying it to your face…

AND FINALLY

  1. Oh my goodness, the eyeliner thing – yes! Why is it that I can NEVER get them identical to each other. I’m the person that ends up drawing more eyeliner on. I almost never take it all off. I swear a lot when I’m applying it too. And totally yes to ‘are you ok?’ on the rare occasions that I’m not wearing makeup. Actually, the other day my mother told me I looked pretty tired when I was wearing a lot of makeup. Must’ve been the excessive black eye makeup which had smudged all over the place following my 1-year old rubbing his arm up and down my face. It was a strong look.

    1. Good to hear I’m not the only one with such problems!! Eyeliner for me is like a love/hate relationship – can’t live with it can’t live without it! Thanks for reading ? xx

      1. Yes, totally love/hate. I don’t leave the house without it on, so it causes me a lot of stress. You’d think I’d be better at applying it after so many years of wearing it! x
