Although I’d like to spend a good 5 hours perfecting my makeup before leaving the house, this just isn’t practical or at all doable (which is why I limit myself to an hour and a half, including showering and a blowdry). This week I’ve come down with a horrible head cold, making me feel lazy, fragile and disorientated, so I really didn’t have the patience or power to agonise over my makeup application. Instead of simply giving up, I decided to put together a little grab & go collection that can brighten up my face and perk me up when I’m feeling crappy. Here’s what it comprises of:
Maybelline SuperStay 24hr Waterproof Powder
This 24hr waterproof powder provides high coverage and a smooth finish. It comes with a round compact mirror and a powder puff, making it the ideal product to keep in your handbag. What I really love about this product is how long it lasts and how well it covers redness for a sheer pressed powder. I also like to use this product on top of set foundation throughout the day to remove access oil.
Gosh Giant Sun Powder
This giant sun powder is super shimmery, so you only need a little dusting on the cheekbones to bring your face to life. The best thing to note about this sun powder is how looooong it lasts! It really is giant, and affordable might I add. Being ill in the Spring is enough to make you depressed, but this bronzer cheers me right up.
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge For Lips & Cheeks
Moisturised lips and dewy pink cheeks are a great way to create a healthy look with minimal effort. The quality of all Bobbi Brown pots is incredible and I especially love the Cabo Coral colour for this time of year. It’s soft, lightweight and smells gorgeous!
